Considered the beginning of winter, early pagan winter solstice traditions were created to celebrate the “birth of the sun.” The winter solstice is a celebration of the imminent return of sun and is the shortest day of the year.
I believe that in order to “know”, you have to admit to “not knowing”. Give up the need to be someone who has all the answers or relies on a rigid belief system. This requires a lot of energy to maintain and also shuts us off from learning and connecting with others who may have a different viewpoint.
